Second daughter of the late Talmage and Rosa Brezzell Turner
Reared in Ebenezer A.M.E.-Detroit, Michigan
Married to the Rev. Lance Edmond Brown. They are the parents of three adult children, and proud grandparents of six (four boys and two girls)
Received her elementary and secondary education through the Detroit Public Schools, graduating from Cass Technical High School (Vocational Music)

Accepted her call to Christian Ministry April 1988; received the Deacon’s Order august 1991,
Elder’s Order, August 1993n in the Michigan Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Served on the ministerial staffs of Ebenezer A.M.E. and Allen Temple A.M.E. (Atlanta). Also served with her husband in team ministry at Brooks United Methodist Church in New Orleans, LA; pastured Trinity United Methodist Church in New Orleans; upon returning to Detroit, served on the ministerial staffs of Christ UMC and Metropolitan UMC. Presently serving as Pastor of Youth Ministries at her home church Ebenezer A.M.E.
“Rev. Pat” has taught both Instrumental and/or Vocal Music in the Detroit, Highland Park, Atlanta, and New Orleans School Districts. Presently teaching Vocal Music at Detroit’s Post Middle School.
As a choir director and violinist/violist, she has directed church choirs (Vernon Chapel A.M.E.-Detroit, St. John A.M.E.-River Rouge, and Church of the Master Presbyterian-Atlanta), and the Talmage Turner Chorale (founded by her father). She has performed with numerous orchestras in Detroit, Highland Park, Dearborn, Atlanta, and New Orleans. Presently, Rev. Pat is a violinist with the Southern Great Lakes Symphony (Flat Rock, MI) and the Instruments of Praise Quartet.
Rev. Pat is affiliated with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity for Women, and Theta Phi Honor Society (Divinity/Theology)
