Ron Spurlock and I became friends in Viet nam 43 years ago. Two years ago my wife and I met Dianne and Ron. Through the years I had told my wife (Linda) about Ron and the men he saved. Some day I hoped to meet him and thank him. When I did, I was very surprised to find that is wife had no Idea what he had done so many years ago. We love these two in God and life. Pastor Moore it was blessing seeing you at the annual conference in Minnesota. And hearing about your church and
your family. May God continue to Bless you and your family and your church family. To God Be The Glory,
We are please to read about Historic Ebenezer AME Church in
Detroit. My husband John Murphy and I grown up in Ebenezer under the leadership of Rev. Carlyse Fielding Steward and the late Bishop James H. Robinson. Bishop Robinson and Rev. Steward married us in 1956. We relocated to Florida, but never forgot our roots. I enjoyed reading about the teens that you ministered at Oak Grove. At old Ebenezer, we belonged to the "Teen Timer Club" and was blessed to have been taught and guided by caring members . May God continue to bestow his bountiful blessings upon you and Ebenezer's Church family. Giving God all the glory and the praise. Sister Betty Simmons Murphy, Bethel AME Church, Punta Gorda, Fl.

I am so pleased to see what God has made of your destiny. I remember watching one of your last sermons before you left the Grove and I said "He is on fire; God is getting ready to do something great." I was so right.! I send blessings to you, Rev. Sharon, your daughters and all that you do. I am truly overjoyed.
We truly enjoyed viewing your church and look forward to visiting with you when we are in Detroit. We, too, are A.M.E.. What a beautiful edifice! Bro. Johnnie Woodson, (our friend, your member) sent us your website. God Bless!
